Vermont Cheese

Here at Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks, we try very hard to sell only the best products in the world. We know our maple products fit that description because, well, we make them right here in our sugarhouse and maple kitchen. Although we put our heart and soul and eight generations of care into the maple products, we have to trust a few other folks with the cheese. Because of that, we choose to sell only Cabot Cheddar Cheese because the Cabot folks are our neighbors and, you know, here at Morse Farm we know we can trust our neighbors...Cabot's the World's Best!

Cabot - Seriously Sharp Cheddar Block (3lb)

Seriously Sharp, from Cabot Creamery Cooperative, has been aged for 14 months and is a cheddar with bite to it. Widely regarded among the native Vermonters as what cheddar is "supposed" to taste like, it has a powerful flavor but a more crumbly texture.

For all of the flavor, but a creamy texture, choose the "Private Stock" Cheddar.

This Sharp Cheddar, from Cabot Creamery Cooperative, has a good flavor, but is considered a milder cheese up in the North Country. (8 month aging)

Extra Sharp Cheddar, from Cabot Creamery Cooperative, is aged 12 months for a pluckier flavor. Considered a good, balanced cheese, it has enough flavor to balance with wines... or apple pie.
