Maple Walnut Meringue Cookies

  • 3 egg whites (6 tablespoons egg white)
  • ½ cup Elliott's  Pure Maple Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups finely chopped Walnuts
  • set oven temperature to 300º

Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.  Beat in maple sugar.  Fold in walnuts.  Drop teaspoon on greased, floured baking sheet: Bake 35 minutes, Turn off oven – leave pan in oven for 15 minutes additional

Remove immediately with spatula – cool on rack.
